  • Container management covering, inverting, or removing anything that collects rainwater
  • Larvicide treatment of water sources that can’t be drained (like excavation pits), using products that stop mosquito development without posing risk to workers
  • Fogging or misting around the site perimeter during peak mosquito hours, especially for sites near residential zones

The timing matters. Mosquito populations can build up within days after heavy rain. Waiting to act until there’s a visible problem means you’re already behind.
